Well, this content really need updating! I guess the most notable thing I have to mention now is my little girl Aliyah. I even have a site am going to do for her as time permits, www.aliyahkendall.com

This site is a base of operations for my web site designs. I use skills from experience and courses at CMU to create useful interactive pages. Data is linked to pages and an interactive experience is achieved. This site enables the use of application servers such as ColdFusion and ASP. Keep in mind that this is a test site and is never really complete. I will be updating and experimenting with different techniques on the pages linked. Check out the www.kencove.com site to see the new Kencove site utilizing a PHP and MySQL . There are many features: secure ordering, linked resources, and shipping options and validation will be linked via XML from UPS. The easy to use administration menu allows users to modify orders, change shipping information and enter tracking details. Upcoming customer interface will allow you to change you information, track orders, and view account history. If you are interested in my work or want a resume you can click on the links above.

A new domain name and web hosting has been acquired for Kendall Web Solutions. This is a project to establish a web presence and to implement new information technologies.

Projects

It has been a busy year for the website business. There are many companies that can benifit from web designed web sites. Others just need a site with contact information that will come up on search engine rankings. There are now more people that find companies with google compared to yellow pagers. Searchablitity is revelutionalizing the way people find data. Why spend time looking when a search algorthm can do it for you?

McKeesport Collaborative

The projects at the Collaborative are going well. I work with Ruth Smith the Program Director. The consultation is designed to increase the use of technology in nonprofit organizations

Strong Academics

Last semester I made the Dean's list. I got High Honors with a GPA of over 3.5 This past semester I took classes in Business and Computer Science. Summer classes went well at the University of Pittsburgh were I took Architecture History, History of Africa and SCUBA. I will complete my certification in August with two Open Water dives.
